Website Lay-outing, Network Meltdown

1. Briefly describe what you PERSONALLY accomplished today:

Today wasn't as productive as any of the groups hoped today, because for over an hour the network was down. However, my group members and I were still able to progress in our project and we are still ahead of schedule in terms of our work load. My main focus of the day was to explore more into Dreamweaver and tweaking our website. Today I discovered numerous functions within the program, such as the different applications of "spry". I have not implemented any spry elements into our website, but its various functions will prove useful to the future. Another interesting application that I learned to appy today was how to insert a scroll bar within a template.

As I explained in previous work logs, the website I was working on was mainly a sample website where I can figure out the inner workings of the program, then create a more professional website. I was hoping to start recreating the new website and look into different tutorials; however, due to lack of internet access I was not able to begin these endeavors.

2. Briefly describe what your TEAMMATE(S) accomplished today:

Today Emily continued what she was doing all of last week, which was finding information and creating profiles for various animals that reside in wetlands. She was almost finished with her list when suddenly the network went down. However, she will be finished with the profiles tomorrow and she will begin a new portion of the project.

Chelsea unfortunately wasn't present today. Emily and I didn't receive an email from her, so she may be very sick and not able to dedicate herself to work.

3. Briefly describe how you and your partner(s) ASSISTED each other today:

Today was mainly filled with frustration because of the fact that we couldn't do as much work as we wanted to. But through our frustration, Emily and I were able to talk intelligently with one another and ease each other's frustration. For example I became upset because of a small detail of our web layout on Dreamweaver, but Emily reassured me that it was alright and I was able to move on and work on other things.
